Chapter 117: Assault on Exalt(Part 2)
"Way too slow," Scoffed Ravella, as she easily evaded an incoming lightning bolt, before cracking her whip across towards her opponent while rapidly extending it out.
He quickly sprang back as the whip closed in on him and winced in pain as the end of the whip lashed the front of his chest, before twisting his body across in alarm as Ravella fired out a rapid light arrow at him, grazing the side of his right arm before she shot forward.
He stumbled slightly before unleashing a barrage of lightning bolts at her, which she easily evaded by weaving around, before whipping her arm across and firing out a rapid slashing wave of light.
He frantically sprang off to the left to try and evade it, before yelling out in agony as the light slash struck his left arm and sliced through, severing it before it hit the ground with a thud as blood violently sprayed out of the stump that was left of his arm.
Ravella then leapt forward as she closed in on him, her opponent stiffening in terror before she formed a light blade along her palm and swung it down, splitting his head in half and killing him.
"I-impossible! He was one of our strongest, h-how could he have been defeated so easily!?" Exclaimed one of the other members who was nearby in shock, before stumbling back in fear as Ravella turned her attention towards him.
"You’re kidding, this guy was one of your strongest members?" Responded Ravella in bemusement, before swinging her whip towards him with a sharp flick of her wrist, extending it out towards him as the whip sliced through the air with immense speed.
He began to try and scramble away, but was too slow to react, hissing in pain as the whip struck his left arm with a sharp thwack and wrapped around his forearm, before he was pulled off balance and stumbled forward as Ravella gave the whip a sharp tug and shot forward.
He desperately began to try and unwind the whip from around his forearm, before she swiftly fired out a rapid, piercing arrow of light, which hit his left eye and burst through, stabbing into his brain before his arms slumped to his sides as he collapsed onto his knees and hit the ground with a thud.
