The peaceful silence near Dominic’s tower disappeared and was replaced by the lively sounds of the academy.
Students wearing various styles of mage robes could be seen everywhere.
Some hurried through the wide stone pathways while carrying thick spell books beneath their arms.
Others walked in groups while discussing magical theories, combat techniques, potion formulas, and upcoming examinations.
Young mages carrying staffs of different shapes and materials moved through the corridors connecting the academy buildings, while a few students could even be seen practicing simple spells in designated training areas.
The entire academy felt alive, but the moment the two of them appeared, many gazes shifted towards them.
More specifically, they shifted towards Arlene.
Even though she belonged to the Elemental Sea Realm batch, evident from the star-shaped blue badge attached to her robes, there wasn’t a single student within the academy who didn’t recognize the Ice Emperor’s daughter.
Her status alone was enough to attract attention wherever she went, yet today, she wasn’t the main reason people stopped and stared.
The true reason behind the countless gazes was the unfamiliar young man walking beside her, as Ethan’s appearance was simply too eye-catching.
His long violet hair alone was enough to draw attention, but when combined with his unusual crimson eyes and tall figure, it became almost impossible not to notice him.
