Angelica knew this moment would come sooner or later, but she hadn't expected it to come so quickly. Serving one's master is indeed part of a maid's duties, but was Mr. Brave not a little too hasty?
Yet, she was just a maid. To a maid, the master's command is absolute.
Angelica gently closed the door; in the spacious room, only Angelica and Qin Chu remained. The Magic Lamp flickered with a soft glow, casting Angelica's pretty face into an even deeper shade of crimson.
It was just a perfectly normal atmosphere, but to Angelica, it felt extraordinarily enchanting.
Her small hand on her chest, her heart pounded violently.
In her heart, Angelica was filled with gratitude towards Qin Chu.
Although Qin Chu may have chosen her only because he liked maids and fancied her body, whatever the reason, the fact that Mr. Brave had saved her from the clutches of Rose Vesper would not change.
From the moment she agreed to Qin Chu, Angelica had been prepared. She was willing to do anything for her master if needed.
But when the time actually came, when there were only two of them left in the room, Angelica began to panic involuntarily.
