Caius heard Delia entering her sister’s office but whatever that was about and would be discussed was not his concern.
He had his student map in hand and used it as an ever-trusty guide until he was standing in front of Arlette’s office door. School was likely ending soon and he knew he only had a few minutes before guards from his family’s estate arrived in a carriage to ferry him home.

Arlette wasn’t seated at her desk. She was standing in front of one of the many bookshelves in her office, reading across their spines like she was searching for something. The ’Staff Room’ being a virtual space was meant to give the Professors their privacy and space to do their jobs while also having the freedom to tap into the most juicy news of the day.
Caius walked around Arlette’s desk and sat in her chair. When he leaned back, the chair’s back reclined to accommodate him.
"Ahh," he let out in a tired voice as he raised one leg onto the desk and closed his eyes, "What did you hear?"
