Chapter 70- He Will What?
Just based on how Mar-Dule described the different arenas, Sol speculated that there was some significance when someone managed to enter them.
Mar-Dule nodded and explained.
"Even though the Mortal Arena and the Earth Arena don’t give someone cultivation resources, just being able to enter them means that you’re extremely talented. Along with fame one’s importance to their Pavilion would increase so more opportunities to gain resources might open. As for the Sky and Heaven Arena, the academy personally hands them a monthly quota of resources. I don’t know the exact number of resources they are given, but I heard the only reason why the Six Holy Sects and the Five Great Clans haven’t relinquished the seats was because of those resources. And to make even those powerful behemoths hungry for it, then it must be a lot."
Sol listened to Mar-Dule and thought for a moment.
He wasn’t someone to be greedy. After all his father said being greedy would only lead to a life where nothing was ever enough for him, and that type of greed would only end in disaster.
What Sol truly wanted those resources for was his cultivation.
As of now, he was finding it hard to open his acupoints, but even after that where would he get the resources from to continue his cultivation?
He couldn’t rely on his Master or Uncle Master’s assistance. He also couldn’t rely on being able to concoct the medicinal pills himself. That would take time.
So, Sol needed to ensure his growth doesn’t stagnate at any point, and the only way to do that is to obtain a lot of resources.
’Perhaps I could try and get a position in the Heaven Arena. But I wonder how long that would take?’
Meanwhile, Sol was in his thoughts, Mar-Dule realized something was wrong with some of the disciples in the surroundings. They were whispering to themselves while looking over in their direction.
