Every step he took toward Professor Delilah Rowe’s office felt like crossing a boundary. This wasn’t like Olivia, who played the game willingly. Or Mia, who trembled on the edge of surrender.
Delilah Rowe was different.

He knocked once.
"Come in."
Her voice, even through the door, sent a ripple down his spine — low, confident, with that crisp academic edge that dared you to try lying to her.
He stepped in.
Delilah looked up from her desk, a pair of sleek black glasses perched on the bridge of her nose. Her dark hair was swept into a tight bun, not a strand out of place, and her blouse hugged her curves with professional precision — tailored, buttoned, but somehow more suggestive than skin.
