"Ah!" Mia’s face turned crimson. She hadn’t expected such an embarrassing mishap. She quickly covered her chest with her hands stammering. "Mr. Carter, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean for this to happen. There must be something wrong with this shirt. Please don’t misunderstand."
David had just mentioned the Outstanding Teacher award, and now this happened. She was genuinely worried he might think she did this on purpose.
