My Accidental Harem

Chapter 136

Through their conversation, Camila realized that Mia was a gentle yet strong-willed woman. Despite her fashionable and revealing attire, she was very conservative at heart and wary of men. Unlike her, Mia’s relationship with her husband, though strained by distance, hadn’t broken down, so she couldn’t welcome another man into her as Camila had.

She was advising Mia not to be too repressed and to participate more in school activities to relieve her mood when Kevin barged in and called her Camila. Thankfully, he hadn’t finished his sentence, or their secret relationship would have been found out.

Seeing the suspicion in Mia’s eyes, Camila’s heart skipped a beat. She put on a stern face and said, "Kevin, what’s wrong with you? I asked you to come get the homework, and you come so late?" She pointed to a stack of homework on the desk and said, "Take it and leave. Next time, come earlier."

Kevin, dazed by Camila’s scolding, instinctively grabbed the homework and left the office. He was extremely anxious and unsure if Mia had seen through their illicit relationship. He regretted his impatience and did not check if anyone else was in the office before barging in. But it was too late for regrets now.

After Kevin left, Camila calmed herself and explained to Mia, "These days, students are getting rude to their teachers. Did you see that? He didn’t even knock and called me by my name."

Mia, seeing that Camila’s expression showed no signs of panic, felt her suspicions dissipate. She laughed and said, "Mrs. Cortez, students are different now. They value equality and freedom. Honestly, our old management style is a bit outdated. But I do envy your relationship with your students. Is he your class’s English representative?"

"Oh, you mean Kevin? Yes, he is. He usually handles things well and has a lot of respect in the class. I trust him with many tasks, and he is good at my class," Camila said, adopting the demeanor of a homeroom teacher evaluating Kevin, feeling relieved that Mia seemed convinced.

So, this boy’s name is Kevin, Mia thought to herself. Recalling their earlier encounter, her face flushed. She had grown into a woman early, with breasts much fuller than her peers, which attracted attention from boys and harassment from some troublemakers. As a result, she had always been wary of men and afraid of intimate contact with them.

Even after marrying her husband, Mia was not enthusiastic about sex, always the one who passively complied with her husband’s needs, and was afraid that expressing her desires would make him think she was promiscuous. So, she usually suppressed her desires.

Mia’s husband, on the other hand, was unromantic and never showed any tenderness. He would roughly satisfy his desires and then fall asleep, leaving Mia to endure the aftermath alone. Over time, Mia found no joy in their marital intimacy and saw it merely as a duty.
