Chapter 119
The faint fragrance of Iris’s breath sprayed on my ear, making me feel tempted but hesitant to make any further moves.
Carrying this graceful and charming beauty turned into torture for me.
Finally, I arrived at a bright place with Iris on my back. It turned out to be not an open space but a small lake surrounded by trees. The shimmering water reflected the trees’ images, shining brightly in the sunlight.
"Okay, you can put me down now." Iris gently stretched her legs to free herself from my hands, looked around, and exclaimed, "What a beautiful lake!"
There was not a cloud in the sky, and the forest air was damp and fresh.
I held Iris’s warm and soft hand and walked towards the water. Her delicate and tender hand in mine felt extremely comfortable.
I watched her carefully moving her delicate feet, saying, "Are your feet still hurting? Soak them in the water for a while."
I bent down to find a dry spot. "Sit here." I gestured.
Iris obediently sat down next to me, took off her small travel shoes, and revealed her dainty feet wrapped in white short socks, which captivated my gaze.
"Take off your socks and soak your feet in the water," I coaxed. "A little massage will help relieve the pain."
Iris tentatively tested the water temperature with her soft and tender hand. The lake water was warm from the sun.
