Chapter 84
After calming Lenora down, I headed to the hospital myself.
When I got there, things were worse than I thought.
My body was so worn out that my cold had turned into a nasty viral flu.
The doctor said I needed to be transferred to the Respiratory Department at Evergreen Hospital for treatment.
For my own good, I had to call Nora. She got a driver to take me to Evergreen Hospital right away.
After a check-up, they put me in a fancy ward.
Nora’s eyes were red as she looked at me lying in the hospital bed.
I smiled and said. "It’s just a cold! Don’t act like I’m on my deathbed."
Nora quickly covered my mouth and said, "Don’t say stuff like that!"
I kissed Nora’s hand, and her face turned bright red.
I grinned and said. "By the way, don’t forget to ask for leave for me!"
