Regression - Second Chance At Life

Kelly gives Adam a small smile, not a real one, a smile that’s usually used to hide a different emotion.

And the emotions that Kelly is trying to hide are frustration, frustration she feels from what Adam pointed out about her relationship.

Adam, being someone she had just met an hour ago, managed to see through her and her relationship. If a stranger could figure it out, then why does the man who should be deeply in love with her not see it?

It’s been six years since their engagement, and yet he never brought up marriage after that. Why doesn’t he? What’s the problem?

But as she thinks about marriage and spending her life with her fiancé, a certain feeling creeps up, something she didn’t expect to feel.

Adam watches with a smile as he sees Kelly delve into her head, going through her thoughts, and he lets her. He would he stop a lamb that is walking itself towards the butcher?

Kelly thinks about it. When her fiancé proposed to her, she felt happy at the moment, but a day later, as he looked at the ring on her finger, she started second-guessing herself.

Did she want to marry so young? She remembered thinking this, but then things moved on. She got busy with her studies and work, while her fiancé began focusing on his business venture.

She realized that throughout their whole six years of being engaged, neither of them ever brought up the thought of marriage, as neither of them wanted to speak about it at all.

Kelly pressed her lips as she finally realized that she didn’t love her fiancé and didn’t want to marry him at all.

In fact, she didn’t want to marry anyone, period. Only after meeting Adam, looking into his eyes, and being aroused by him, did she realize she wanted to explore more about herself.

It all starts coming to Kelly: a sexless relationship, even though both of them are in their twenties.

Her desire for other men, it’s not just Adam that changed her mind, she did find herself feeling attraction towards other men, whether it was some stranger she came across on the street, or a guy she met at the bar while she was hanging out with her friends, there are even times when she catches herself admiring her friend’s hot boyfriend.

The only reason she never went forward with her desire is that she was scared of change, not consequence, because in her mind, she had already moved on from her fiancé. She doesn’t love him anymore, so she isn’t scared of losing him.

What she is scared of is change. Her fiancé is the only stability in her life, a constant to which she can come back, and that’s why she didn’t dare cross the line.

Then there is her career-driven nature. She wants to be a race engineer. She has no time for marriage and family.

Kelly didn’t expect she would gain clarity of her own life after meeting a young, handsome man who stirred up her emotions like no one ever had, not even her own fiancé, whom she did love in the early days of their relationship.

As she escapes her thoughts and looks at Adam, who gives her his signature charming smile, she can’t help but wonder how fickle she is.

But then again, she got the clarity she needed to move on with her life and begin anew.

Suddenly, there is a knock on the door, and as it is pushed open, a worker comes in pushing a trolley filled with food and drinks.

"Oh, look, our lunch is here," Adam says.

"Let me get that." Kelly gets up on her feet, takes the trolley from the worker’s hand, and starts helping Adam and Danny with their lunch.

"What did you get yourself?" Adam asks.

"Nothing much, just some salad," Kelly says, shyly. "I’m on a diet..." she continues as her cheeks flush.

"Well, you shouldn’t be. If you want to be a good race engineer, you need all the food you need. A healthy brain needs all the calories it can get to be active," Adam says as he unwraps his burger.

"I will keep that in mind..." Kelly says and joins Adam back on the couch.

Danny has been silent all this time, observing Adam, listening to his words, picking up on everything Adam does and says.

He begins to realize that talking to women is just to have a normal conversation with a little bit of flirting here and there, slight touching, making sure that you are clear with your intentions, but not desperate about it, so that one doesn’t come off as a creep.

Now that Danny looks back at his own interactions with the few women he has tried to approach, it has all been a disaster.

The first girl he ever approached, he was a nervous wreck, barely even managed to speak a word, he remembered how that girl just chuckled and moved along without giving him a second look.

His second attempt was much different; he tried being brash and loud, but things didn’t work out. She gave him a weird look and walked away.

After two rejections, he had completely given up, but then he met Olivia. She was just standing there looking sexy, and he approached her with his usual awkwardness, but unlike other women, Olivia welcomed his approach with enthusiasm.

He thought he had found the right woman; if not for Adam pointing out that Olivia was using him, he would have never guessed that, after all, she became distant and cold after their first meeting.

And as Adam said, every time he was about to get bored with her, she would reel him back in with some sexual favor, like a sloppy kiss or a hand job, and with how little experience he has, he always fell for it.

But now that he sees the master himself at play, Danny realizes that he has so much to learn about women and how they work.

The trio continues with their lunch, talking and eating, most of the talking is done by Adam and Kelly while Danny continues to observe.

Adam began openly flirting with Kelly, calling her cute when she took a bite of her food, closing the distance, and offering a bite of his burger.

But that’s not all, other than just talking and flirting, Adam went a step further.

Staring into her eyes, smiling charmingly, he placed his hand on her exposed thigh.

Feeling his touch on her thigh, Kelly took a glance at it. She saw Adam’s hand resting on her thigh, gently caressing her.

She looked at it for a few seconds, taking it all in, how manly his hand looks with how lean and veiny it is, but at the same time how soft and warm it feels on her skin.

Kelly pressed her lips again, getting aroused by his touch. Her legs began trembling while goosebumps rose on her skin.

And as she lifted her head to meet his gaze, she saw the same confident eyes staring back at her as if what he was doing was nothing.

"Is something wrong?" Adam asks.

Kelly takes a gulp, presses her lips, and shakes her head. "Nothing~" she says softly.

Kelly quickly goes back to avoiding his gaze and focuses on her salad.

Adam smirks; he knows he now has Kelly in the bag. The only thing he needs to do is make his move.

There won’t be much, or if any, resistance from her.

But before he does that, he decides to butter her up some more, make sure that nothing is stopping him from getting on with Kelly once he makes his move.

Under Adam’s charm and sweet talking, Kelly has become completely immersed in Adam. She feels as if he can stare into her soul, his smile makes her heart flutter, and his touch makes her body burn.

His gentle rubs on her thigh always make her feel as if she is constantly on edge.

Every time his hand moves up her thigh, she feels the need to clench in, anticipating his touch to get even more intimate, but Adam stops right at the line, leaving Kelly frustrated.

She feels as if Adam’s playing with her, but when she looks at his face and nonchalant expression, she begins doubting herself, wondering if she is just overthinking it.

Adam, of course, being a master manipulator, never shows his intentions on his face. He lets Kelly do all the thinking, dragging herself deeper into his web until she can no longer get out.

Danny has his mouth open as he watches Adam work his magic on Kelly.

He sees the way Adam is playing with Kelly, gently caressing her thighs, in a very sexual way, but not crossing the line to make it actually sexual, and he can see that it’s working as intended.

He sees the frustration building up inside Kelly, the way she is staring at Adam, the trembling of her legs, the constant biting of her lower lip.

Even Danny, who has no experience when it comes to women, can clearly see the increasing desire for Adam in Kelly’s eyes and body.

The goosebumps on her skin, her flushed cheeks, and her slowly opening her legs a little to welcome Adam. This action of hers was, of course, a welcome surprise for Danny as he finally got to peek at her underwear. A black lace-type underwear.

But with how things have progressed, he is no longer interested in what she has underneath; he is more eager to see what Adam’s going to do next.
