Chapter 91: Overthinking
Julia is in the kitchen waiting for Xu Lin to come back.
’Where is that girl?’ Julia wonders, looking at the time, it’s been a while since she has been gone. By now, she should already be in the kitchen preparing breakfast.
’Isn’t Adam’s room the last one in her cleaning routine?’ Julia thinks, and something crosses her mind.
’I should check to make sure,’ she thinks, and makes her way upstairs.
Julia arrives on the second floor and walks past her room. She hears the shower in her room still running, ’Jack is still taking a shower,’ she thinks, and continues making her way towards Adam’s room.
As she gets closer to Adam’s room, she starts hearing weird squelching sounds. Like something wet and sloppy is getting played around with.
’Just like I thought,’ Julia thinks. She hasn’t even seen what’s going on inside Adam’s room, but she already knows.
By now, it’s very evident to her that Adam is a sex magnet that most women find very hard to resist. She knows this because she, too, is a victim of it, but unlike those weak-willed women, Julia’s resolve and mental toughness are much stronger.
Julia arrives before Adam’s room and sees that the door is not locked. By now, she has also realized that Adam purposely never locks the door because the only person to ever walk in on him is Julia, and no one else.
Jack doesn’t even bother talking to Adam unless they are in the dining hall facing each other. Over the years of marriage, Julia has never seen Jack walk into Adam’s room.
This pisses off Julia even more. Adam wants her to see what he does to other women, signaling to her that she can be one of them, but how can Julia ever fall for something like this?
Sure she gets frustrated, angry, and jealous seeing those women have what she can’t, but her main concern will always be Jack’s money. The moment she gives in to her pleasure, she will lose the battle.
