Chapter 82: Regain Control
Adam can’t help but frown on his face at how things turned out. It is now very clear to him that it is not only he who is obsessed.
Julia feels the same. But Adam is not delusional enough to think she was always obsessed with him. He has to give all the credit to how he looks and acts currently.
He now knows that Julia is on that fine line, but to make her cross that fine line is almost impossible because she is extremely tough mentally.
Just look at what happened just a few seconds ago. She almost gave in, but when Adam tried to push it, make it more intimate by entering inside her. She snapped. She was able to push through her desire and leave.
And this is the very reason, Adam went out of his way to make Brandon grab Julia’s ass. He will need a little assistance to make Julia cross that line.
’Now I just need to wait for the right time,’ Adam thinks, and decides to go to bed.

Julia storms out of Adam’s room and rushes into hers. She then looks the door behind her and immediately collapses on the ground with her back against the door, gritting her teeth in frustration, anger, but most regret.
She looks down at her legs as they shake under the influence of the sheer amount of adrenaline that was released from the excitement she felt from having Adam’s lips pressed against hers.
It was an intoxicating feeling, something she would love to experience very day of the week, but she knew she couldn’t. Crossing that line will change everything.
Because she knew the moment, she crossed that line, she lost. Not only to her desires, but everything else she hoped to have in the future.
She didn’t marry Jack to just become a slave to her desire. She married Jack to get his wealth. That has always been what she has always wanted.
