Chapter 65: Watching
Adam, Candice, and their new friends make their way to the parking lot. As they walk, they approach a blue supercar. Adam looks at the can and realizes it’s a Velocity Mirage.
A supercar known for being one of the fastest production cars ever.
Adam looks at the car and guesses that it belongs to Danny, as he is the only one rich enough to own such a beast.
Danny grins as he steps next to the car and pulls out a key.
"How do you like my car?" he asks, placing his hand on the car’s hood.
"Impressive," Adam says, and he is not praising out of spite or jealousy. Adam is a man who has been given a second chance at life. He won’t be jealous of anyone because he got what even the richest person in the world can’t get.
So why would he be jealous of a billionaire’s kid who got everything through his daddy’s money?
Another reason for Adam not being jealous of Danny is that Adam knows he is going to be a billionaire in the future as well. And it will be through his own capabilities. Not borrowed from anyone.
Adam has knowledge of the future.
"Hehe, Dad gifted it to me on my eighteenth birthday. Do you wanna drive it?" Danny asks.
"Not today. We have other plans in mind for the night," Adam says as he has his arm around Candice’s waist.
