Chapter 42: Talking
"How did you know?" Ellie asks, surprised. She didn’t understand how Adam knew it was Sean who coerced her into having sex.
She really didn’t want to, as she was afraid someone might walk in on them. Even though she promised him that they could do it during lunch, she thought she could drag it all the way till night, when they could go home and do it then.
But she underestimated Sean’s resolve. She had no option but to comply with his constant begging. She thought it was better to get this done and over with, as it would shut up Sean.
She regretted asking for his help today, but what’s done is done.
But this decision from her made her worst fear come true. Someone did walk in on them, and it was none other than Adam. Her newest employee. She still doesn’t know what type of person Adam is, so she was panicked, thinking Adam might have already told everyone about what he saw.
Luckily, Adam turned out far more understanding than she expected. He didn’t even mind her fooling around. He is far too mature for his age.
Ellie feels like Adam is the one who is older of the two.
But she still doesn’t understand how Adam knew that it was Sean who coerced her into it.
"Come on, it’s obvious that Sean is the one who would initiate it. Just look at you, you are beautiful. I don’t blame Sean at all. If you were my girlfriend, I too would be constantly trying to be with you," Adam says teasingly.
Anyone observant would notice what Adam just said. He just told Ellie right to her face that he would constantly try to fuck her, but of course, he implemented two denials into the sentence. First being the girlfriend part. Ellie is not Adam’s girlfriend, second is not saying the word "fuck" it self.
Ellie’s eyes widen with surprise, hearing Adam’s words. She doesn’t know how to take it. Adam called her beautiful and how he couldn’t be able to stop himself if she were his girlfriend, just like Sean.
