Chapter 7: The Ugly One
"Oh... So you are Adam, you seem so different from the way Joe described you," Joe's sister says, taking Adam's hand while giving Joe the side eye. She can see the anger building up on Joe's face, which makes her happy.
"And what's your name?" Adam asks. Even though he remembered Joe having a hot sister, he forgot her name.
"You don't know my name?" She asks, surprised. "Well, I hope it's not too late to learn," Adam replies cheekily. Joe's sister is impressed by how forward Adam is.
"It's Ruth," she replies.
"Ruth, a beautiful name for a beautiful lady," Adam says, smiling charmingly at her. Ruth blushes a little, infatuated by his smile.
When you are handsome, cheesy lines like this make women wet in their panties. Of course, if an ugly bastard used the same words, Ruth would have cringed with disgust.
Joe doesn't like where this is going. Adam is openly flirting with his sister and he doesn't want this to continue.
"Come on, dude, let's go," Joe says, as he will not be able to win an argument against his sister.
"Talk to you later," Adam says, giving her a fleeting smile as he follows Joe to his room. Ruth bites her lips, watching Adam leave.
She then makes her way down to the kitchen to find her mother preparing snacks.
Emily notices Ruth in her underwear and frowns. "Ruth, we have a guest. Go put on something decent," She says.
