Endless Horde: Through the Eyes of a Godking

Chapter 674: Spectating: Beowulf vs. Jade Warlord (II)

--

An ominous air descended upon the battlefield.

As beautiful as that moon up close was, it also brought a palpitating fear to whoever saw it. That fear was even more amplified when the scene of Beowulf’s transformation was added to it.

Beowulf’s body began to change. The hairs on some parts of his body began growing wildly and have turned a chilling silver in color. His arm elongated just a little bit, and his legs curved; his hands and feet turned into claws, and his face also extended just a bit, especially his nose.

A sanguine aura erupted from him, dousing the immediate environment with a thick and suffocating killing intent. His eyes turned into golden slits as well, gazing at Jade Warlord as if seeing through his soul.

Seeing this transformation, Cedric realized something.

"The Bloodline of the Moon Devouring Wolf," he whispered to himself.

Indeed, the transformation that happened to Beowulf was due to him tapping into the power of his bloodline.

The Moon Devouring Wolf, like the Space Wandering Whale, was a Primordial Beast. It’s a giant, ferocious beast that has existed since time immemorial and has roamed the primitive universe even before humans were around.

The primordial beast has become an endangered species, hunted down for sport by the races that had dominated the Chaos Realm. They had to make space for themselves, after all, and they could only do so by bringing down these terrifying beasts.

The Moon Devouring Wolf does what it’s called; it devours moons, but not just ordinary moons—it’s a picky one. It only eats moon that contains spirituality in them.

By devouring moons, the wolf essentially strengthens itself and its bloodline. Not only does it grow in size, but it also empowers it greatly, allowing it to basically tear through any obstacles in its path.
