One year later...
Time had passed in the blink of an eye, without anyone even noticing it. Each day, everything that had happened just a year ago felt like a distant memory.
It felt like a dream.
The only thing proving it wasn’t just their imagination was Atlas’s absence. He may not have been the loudest, but his absence grew louder each day. No one would say it, but they could all feel it.
So, on the days when their hearts longed for a family member, they simply did things that made them temporarily feel better. Just like right now.
Gathered in the Bennet Mansion’s family room were everyone: Allison, Charles, Jessa, Lester, Haines, Grace, Hugo, Kiara, Slater, Penny, Zoren, Nina, Finn, Yugi, Yuri, and even Mint and Benjamin. The last two were only there because Benjamin dragged Mint along.
And their faces? A mix of dismay and disbelief.
"A camp?" Penny repeated in disbelief. "Why a camp?"
Standing in front of them were Jessa and Allison. Jessa had her arms folded under her chest, nodding at them.
"Why a camp? Hah, Penny. Didn’t you read the pamphlet?" Jessa nodded enthusiastically. "It’s basically a place for healing, a place of relaxation, and learning."
Hugo narrowed his eyes. "I don’t need healing."
