Chapter 437: She, who had suffered so much, wasn’t even worth remembering?
"Hey! Out of the way!" Angel yelled at the men guarding the front door. "Out of the fucking way! HELP!"
The men turned toward Angel, eyes widening. Behind him was the black panther, Renny. They had heard about the commotion, but the orders they received were to guard the front door while others dealt with the situation.
This didn’t look like it was dealt with!
"Out of the way!" Angel’s voice rang out again, prompting everyone to scramble aside. None of them dared to engage in the fight or help him.
This was Angel’s problem.
"Shit!" Angel cursed under his breath. "No one’s even taking the initiative?"
Out of spite, Angel rushed through the group. As a result, Renny charged at them as well.
"Ack!"
Not caring about the additional collateral damage, Angel’s eyes blazed as he neared the front door. Sensing the panther still behind him, he didn’t slow down. He only stopped when he was close enough to the door. Using his momentum, he slid across the floor and grabbed a pillar, allowing him to quickly change direction.
Mark, following them with the help of one of his men, paused and watched. His mouth fell open in surprise at Angel’s swift movements.
’He’s... good,’ Mark thought. But he also realized something else: ’Or maybe Renny doesn’t plan to stop at all.’
For a moment, everything seemed to slow down as everyone’s eyes shifted from Angel to the black panther. They held their breath, wide-eyed, and could only watch as the massive black cat hurtled toward the front door.
