Chapter 86: Desired Effect
His wolf went crazy inside his head. The animal side of him was demanding that Gareth take Jasmine up on her offer and fuck her right on the floor of this grimy shack.
As her sweet scent swirled around his head, flirting with his self-control, Gareth planted his feet firmly on the ground. His eyes widened as he stared down at Jasmine’s bare breasts and toned stomach. His eyes snapped back to her flushed face when he remembered that it hadn’t been Jasmine’s decision for him to see her naked.
But damn, it was hard to think straight when her breathy moans, soft skin, and delicious scent were like sharp claws sinking into his sanity, attempting to tear it apart.
As Jasmine continued to groan in pain and pleasure, her back arched off the ground, and she let out an earth-shattering scream. The mere sound of her shout made Gareth’s ears throb in pain. Quickly, he realized that if Jasmine didn’t get relief soon, she could be driven insane with lust.
Then, his stomach dropped when something else occurred to him. Jasmine wasn’t only a danger to herself right now.
‘Send all unmated males away from here. NOW,’ Gareth yelled through his mindlink with Beta Kevin. ‘And I need you to park the car directly outside of the shack’s front door.’
‘On it, sir,’ Beta Kevin replied right away.
Gareth leaned down and broke Jasmine’s chains. Waiting beside her warm, curvy body was pure torture. Finally, when Gareth thought that he couldn’t take it anymore, his Beta called inside his head.
‘Alpha, all unmated males have been sent away. Our warriors have captured almost all the rogues, but there are still a few out there that are on the run. We are tracking their scents now.’
Damn it.
Gareth wanted all those bastards apprehended before he transferred Jasmine to the car, but he needed to get her out of here now. While she was in heat, she wasn’t safe in the rogues’ territory.
‘Is the car ready?’ Gareth asked as he slid his arms under Jasmine’s overly heated body.
