When the conversation ended, the old lady took the lead and walked towards the house. Seeing her determination, Shen Zixian did not continue the topic and silently followed behind her.
Since leaving the Shen Family’s ancestral home, Mi Jing had been unusually quiet, her pretty face turned towards the car window. It was unclear if she was looking at the scenery or just daydreaming.
The car stopped at a red light in front of the crosswalk. Taking advantage of the pause, Mi Jing finally changed her position, turned her face, and asked Shen Lingxing, "Is there anything you want to tell me?"
"Not at the moment," Shen Lingxing said calmly.
Upon hearing this, Mi Jing let out a muffled "Oh," then raised her eyes to look at the traffic lights ahead.

"I did initially, but since you don’t want to talk for now, I don’t want to ask for now," Mi Jing said, grinning. "Don’t I seem very understanding?"
Shen Lingxing was amused by Mi Jing. He affectionately pinched her nose, tacitly acknowledging her self-praise.
When they got home, it was already past eight. Although they had been out having fun for half the day, Mi Jing did not want to move once she nestled into the comfortable sofa.
"Shen Lingxing, turn on the TV," Mi Jing said bluntly, seeing Shen Lingxing come out of the kitchen.
"What’s wrong? Not feeling well?" Shen Lingxing, seeing Mi Jing looking a bit tired lying on the sofa, quickly walked over and felt her forehead.
