Chapter 18 Meeting the In-laws
"Director, the things you asked for are ready." Jiang Jian put the items on the coffee table and then spoke to Shen Lingxing, who was changing his coat by the coat rack.
"What are these?" Before Shen Lingxing could respond, Chu Chen curiously stared at the items on the coffee table and asked Jiang Jian.
"Don't mind him. You go out first, I'll call you if I need you." Shen Lingxing instructed.
Jiang Jian left as instructed, but Chu Chen's curiosity didn't fade. His gaze kept wandering over those bags, and he even opened them to take a look at what's inside.
"Tea leaves, knives, brushes, liquor? Fourth Brother, what are you planning to do with these?" Chu Chen looked up at Shen Lingxing, his youthful, doll-like face filled with confusion.
"Meeting my future in-laws." Shen Lingxing picked up the thermos cup on his desk, took a sip of water, and cleared his throat before speaking.
What? Future in-laws?
Chu Chen was incredibly surprised and asked, "Fourth Brother, when did you get married?"
"Today."
Wow! Just a few days out of sight, and he's following the trend with a lightning-fast marriage!
Chu Chen admired this greatly. Flash marriage! That takes a lot of courage! But someone as rational as Shen Lingxing, how could he be so impulsive?
