Chapter 14 Ex-Boyfriend Meets Current Husband
Seeing that Shen Lingxing was staring at the notebook and smiling for a while without saying a word, Mi Jing couldn't hold back and asked, "Finished reading? If you think there's something unreasonable, please say so."
"The married life you wrote about, is it general or specific?" Shen Lingxing frowned and asked Mi Jing, his handsome face full of confusion.
Is it general or specific? Mi Jing originally meant it to refer specifically to marital intercourse, but Shen Lingxing's question made her too embarrassed to tell the truth.
"Of course..." Mi Jing hesitated for a moment, then firmly said, "Of course, it's general, referring to all behaviors between a married couple."
But Shen Lingxing was not easily fooled. Mi Jing's one second of hesitation was as obvious as if there were no silver in these hills, revealing her true thoughts. "The idea is good, very thorough." Shen Lingxing tried hard to suppress his laughter. If she hadn't mentioned it, he wouldn't have thought of this issue.
After signing his name, Shen Lingxing handed the notebook back to Mi Jing. Mi Jing took it and looked at it, the name was written in such flamboyant strokes that it was hard to tell what name it was. But she didn't ask much, quickly signed her own name, then put away the notebook and got off the car with Shen Lingxing.
Shen Lingxing's assistant, Jiang Jian, had arrived at the civil affairs bureau first. He was waiting at the door. Seeing Shen Lingxing walking towards him with an unfamiliar woman, he immediately went up to greet them.
"Dean..."
"You go inside and wait for me first."
Jiang Jian and Shen Lingxing spoke almost simultaneously. Looking at Shen Lingxing talking to Mi Jing, Jiang Jian sensibly closed his mouth and stood aside waiting quietly.
Mi Jing simply acknowledged with a sound, considered it as agreeing. She was about to leave, and her gaze inadvertently swept over Jiang Jian beside Shen Lingxing, just in time to see him curiously looking at her. Out of politeness, Mi Jing gave him a friendly smile and then walked towards the wide-open door in front.
