Chapter 3 Rejecting the Matchmaking (1)
"Oh, I rarely watch TV and I don't follow celebrities, so there are only a few stars whose names I can call out."
The coffee and honey tea arrived, halting their conversation. When the waiter placed the honey tea in front of Mi Jing, he gave her a sympathetic look, but Mi Jing merely smiled faintly, not feeling her situation warranted sympathy.
After the waiter left, Fang Zheng took a sip of his coffee and said, "It's hard to find someone who looks like another person. Is this why Miss Mi is still single?"
"Probably." Mi Jing lied with her eyes wide open. In fact, she wasn't particularly fond of Ku Tianle; it was merely an excuse to fend off Fang Zheng.
"Then Miss Mi must have dated before, right? Does your ex-boyfriend look like Ku Tianle?"
"No." At the mention of her ex-boyfriend, Mi Jing's heart suddenly tightened. In recent years, she rarely thought of Han Xiujie, barely remembering his face. She was always carefree and wouldn't hold onto the past, but she had been hurt emotionally. Though the wounds had healed, the subconscious memory of hurt and betrayal still lingered. So whenever someone brought up the term 'ex-boyfriend', she always felt a little uncomfortable.
However, Fang Zheng didn't notice the subtle sadness in Mi Jing's eyes and seemed quite pleased with her answer. He smiled and said, "Miss Mi, my first impression of you is very good, and I don't have high demands for my future spouse. She doesn't need to have high academic qualifications, nor does she need to be very beautiful, someone like you is just right."
What does it mean to be just right like her? She certainly didn't have a stunning beauty, but even though she suited Fang Zheng's aesthetic, Mi Jing didn't feel happy about that.
"So?" Mi Jing asked, slightly woodenly, gazing at Fang Zheng in confusion.
