His mother’s sudden phone call froze Roland in his tracks.
He knew his mother’s character all too well. She would never call him unless there was a specific reason.

"Aunt Yukio, why don’t you and Haruno go to the living room first? I’ll take my mother’s call," Roland suggested, deciding to get them out of the way before answering.
