Yukio wandered around outside, trying to shake off her daughter before entering the pharmacy.
But after careful consideration, she realized she couldn’t be sure if she’d actually lost Haruno trailing behind her. If she went inside and Haruno was still following, it would be an irreversible disaster.

After all, as she really think about it, the safety period and the drug’s protective effect were roughly equivalent, both offering over 90% effectiveness.
Of course, if she could avoid even that 10% risk, Yukio would have preferred it.
But what choice did she have?
She couldn’t possibly reveal to her daughter what they had done last night just to eliminate that 10% chance.
