Chapter 23: Blackmailing Wayne
How could Mike let this cocky son of a bitch go so easily?
Never.
His lips curled into a smirk as he played with the picture, then spoke slowly, "You can keep the hairpin. It’s not really valuable anyway, since I’m giving it to some woman who might look down on me. But this picture? I can happily jerk off to it anytime I want. I have a vivid imagination too so this is just perfect for me. Thank you for having it in the first place."
Wayne’s expression contorted, his hands trembling. At the same time, he couldn’t help but fear that Mike might really not return the picture.
He gritted his teeth. "You’re asking for trouble!"
Mike’s smile deepened. "Nah, I’m just asking you to keep the hairpin. What? Don’t want it again despite stealing it? Wowww, alright then. You can toss it or break it in two. It’s yours to do as you wish just as this picture is mine."
Wayne glared, the vein in his neck taut with anger. Mike’s smile deepened as he watched the other man fume, his face long turned purple with fury.
Sterling and Rafael’s jaws nearly hit the ground. They were filled with nothing but admiration for Mike.
He was so damn amazing, he’d managed to piss off the guy who used to infuriate them. They badly wanted to give him a thumbs-up. Mike is just too amazing and smart!
Meanwhile, Mike, oblivious to their admiration, had another plan. And the fish had taken the bait.
Finally, he sighed. "Fine, don’t look so angry. I’ll give you the picture."
