"Coming upstream from the river of time? Isn’t that traversing through time and space?"

A future being coming back to the present via the Time Tree, for what purpose? Are they hostile toward humans?

"Of course, this world is more wonderful and mysterious than you all know," the Book Holder replied. "If you really could obtain the Time Worm, then you would be able to travel through the branches of the Time Tree that span across the ancient, present, and future."

"The Time Worm... it has such a mysterious ability?" A Forbidden Zone being inquired.

The Book Holder replied, "The Time Worm is just a name, its true form is not some parasitic insect, but a mysterious existence that roams on the Time Tree. Or perhaps, it’s an entity that accompanies the Time Tree. So mysterious it’s hard to catch a glimpse."

But Li Yelai’s heart was moved, the Time Worm... when Mei Wu was to be sacrificed to Mr. Shadow, she had screamed in terror, the Time... Worm.

Could it be that Mr. Shadow is the Time Worm? Or does Mr. Shadow possess the Time Worm?
