The green-skinned train looked a bit old on the outside, but the interior decoration was actually quite new and luxurious.

Leather sofas, walnut desktops, handmade wool carpets, vintage decorative lamps. It felt more like a luxury train that’s more for sightseeing than traveling.

The Red Driver operated the drones to explore in both directions towards the front and the rear of the train, and didn’t see a single person—not a passenger nor a crew member.

The cockpit door at the front of the train was tightly locked. Through the glass, one could glimpse the control sticks and buttons all moving on their own.

"What in the world is this place..."

Full of confusion, the Red Driver noticed that the virtual arrow on the radar always pointed in the direction the train was heading, strongly indicating that this was indeed the correct path for task execution.

"I seem to have heard about this."

Midnight Howl said hesitantly, "It was in a sleazy bar on some back street. Someone at the next table had too much to drink and was bragging. He said he once got trapped in a ’killing field’, a place set up with a space anchor, leaving no way to teleport out.

Just when he was about to die from thirst and hunger, a train suddenly emerged from the wall, picked him up and took him away from there.

Before he got off the train and returned to a safe place, the train conductor took his life’s precious love as the price for the train ticket."

"Priceless love?" said the Driver in astonishment. "Don’t tell me they’re also into human trafficking?"
