"Fool, of course, I know!" Li Ruo said as a surge of maternal love swelled up within her before she approached and embraced Ye Chen’s head. "I know what you’re feeling inside, and I realize you care about how I feel, but as a woman, I empathize with her. She loves you but can’t get your reciprocation!"
"As a man, I waver between being faithful and a playboy!" Ye Chen said with a faint smile, "I truly want to be a faithful man, but reality doesn’t allow it. I love deeply both of you. I want to hold you both in my arms. But..."
"No buts!" Li Ruo, sitting down on Ye Chen’s legs, nudged her nose against his and met his gaze. "Look at me, do you love her?"

"You won’t lose me!" Li Ruo insisted, clenching her teeth, "As a man, I hope you can take on a man’s responsibilities, okay?"
"What should I do?" Ye Chen pressed on.
"Win her back on the day of her wedding!" Li Ruo said with a sly smile. "Give her a shocking memory!"
After recalling for a short while, when Ye Chen clearly saw the smile in Li Ruo’s eyes, he took a deep breath and nodded, "Alright. I will!"
"That’s more like it!" Li Ruo huffed.
