"Tommy, what brings you to me? Don’t tell me you want to join my crew and collect cans?" Allen Zhang asked.
"Spot on, mate! I’m flat broke, homeless, and after giving it a good think, your team might be the only place for a guy like me, especially with all the drifters around." Tommy replied.
"What makes you think I would take you in? I may run a recycling operation, but my team isn’t a dump where just anyone can join. If you’ve got nowhere to live, you could go to a shelter. Want me to recommend one?" Allen Zhang answered.
"Because I’ve got a head for business, I can make a lot of money for you! I even have a detailed plan that can bring in at least fifty thousand US Dollars!"
"The last guy who promised me that ended up with broken legs, and I still had to clean up his mess," Allen Zhang scoffed.
But he gave him a chance, "Let’s hear it, what’s your plan? You’re not hoping I’ll help you level the playing field with rival forces, are you? I heard you went bankrupt because you were betrayed, and had a batch of goods stolen?"
"You know about that too?" Tommy was surprised, but then thought about how extensive the other party’s information network must be, so it wasn’t strange after all.
He honestly replied, "Yeah, I’ve been persecuted, fallen into a trap set by my own people. I invested all my funds in a batch of pirated CDs and even took out loans to buy a batch of adult tapes.
