Cooper’s application was quickly approved after being submitted. The police were very happy to learn that their security personnel independently apprehended a wanted criminal, and they immediately notified the local mental health facility, which was already sending people to retrieve the patient.
With Sieg’s cooperation, the staff successfully dispersed the homeless. Those who were injured were given simple first aid and supplied with some medical gauze and Band-Aids before being sent to other shelters for meals, thus passing the problem to those shelters.
Everything settled, the staff was given paid leave for the afternoon.
Allen Zhang, as an injured person, was treated well and catered to on the balcony while waiting for the insurance company personnel to come and check on him. Meanwhile, Sieg, fully armed, was guarding the unconscious Black mentally ill patient, Alexander.
Before long, a vehicle from the mental health facility arrived at the shelter’s front gate, and several medical staff along with a slightly overweight middle-aged man alighted. Guided by Rena, they encountered the unconscious Alexander.
They recognized him instantly!
Even if his head was wrapped like a Mummy and turned to ashes, the staff of the mental health facility wouldn’t forget him!
"Thank heavens! It’s him! Thank you for your help in finding this patient, otherwise, it’s hard to imagine how many more people he could have hurt!"
Director Hall breathed a sigh of relief, knowing how devastated he felt when he was woken in the middle of the night to learn that this Black man had escaped and stabbed passersby.
Fortunately, kind-hearted people helped resolve this issue. Otherwise, facing public criticism and bearing the blame, he would not have an easy time ahead.
