Dominating the Powerful Families: Rebirth of

The Shen Family’s New Year’s Eve dinner, ever since they were blessed with Shen Tianxing, started being held at Shen Tianxing’s home from the second year on.

From the old Mr. Shen and Mrs. Shen, to Uncle Shen Wenjun’s family, Second Uncle Shen Wenzheng’s family, and Shen Tianxing’s own family, they all gathered together.

They also were quite willing to reunite at Shen Tianxing’s home, for it is there, during the New Year’s celebration, they dined on the most irresistible delicacies.

So, every year’s New Year’s Eve dinner at the Shen Family’s, including watching the Spring Festival Gala and staying up late, was always exceptionally lively.

Shen Tianxing was very fond of the New Year’s atmosphere at home.

Of the four cousins studying in Capital City, only Second Cousin Shen Tianzhi had to work on New Year’s. Uncle’s third son, Tianbo, Second Uncle’s fourth son, Tianyu, and fifth son, Tianrui, all returned for the New Year’s celebration.

Second Cousin Shen Tianzhi now works in the Capital City Military Region. He had already taken leave to come home for his eldest cousin’s wedding to Fu Chaoying. This New Year’s, it was others’ turn to take leave, so he had to stay on duty and couldn’t come home. There was no choice but to make phone calls to wish everyone a happy new year.

Now this large family, aside from during special occasions, could only get together like this for New Year’s.

In a few more years, when the other cousins have also graduated and started working and getting married, it will likely be even harder for such a large family to gather together.

But that’s just the way things are.
