Dating the Bossy CEO Next Door

Chapter 66- reaction

Lilian’s mind was flooded with one thought: I don’t want to be with Morrison. I don’t want to be with Morrison. So, without thinking, she replied to Karl,

"Maybe it’s better if we don’t give him a ride..."

The moment the words left her mouth, she immediately felt they sounded off and wanted to take them back. But it was too late—Karl had already stepped outside and caught up with Morrison.

"Bro, Lilian says she’s not really comfortable giving you a ride. You should just take a cab."

Lilian was stunned. Karl just said out loud what she hadn’t even dared admit to herself. She felt utterly defeated. Morrison’s face instantly darkened to an almost frightening degree.

Karl, oblivious to the tension, explained casually,

"You know how it is—me and Lilian are in the heat of young love. Sometimes feelings get a little... uncontrollable. Having you in our car just wouldn’t be appropriate."

"In the car, huh? What, you guys planning to... do more? Do the thing?" Morrison’s roar nearly shattered the air.

Karl covered his ears in embarrassment while Lilian’s face flushed crimson, utterly mortified standing there.

Linda, who had followed them out, heard Morrison’s crude words and stormed over, pinching his arm hard.

"What are you saying? Lilian and Karl are pure kids! Watch your mouth!"

Morrison, already furious, yanked his arm free and spun around to leave.
