Chapter 52- you bitch
Lilian thought she’d ask Sean about her car tomorrow after work—specifically, how much she could sell it for. After all, she didn’t know the first thing about secondhand car prices. She was just a girl with no clue about the market.
And in MOS Corp., although Sean wasn’t in the same department as her, he was the male colleague she was most familiar with—thanks to her previous association with Morrison.
So, naturally, he was her first choice for help.
If she asked her brother about selling the car, he’d definitely object.
She also thought about selling her luxury handbags. Those she could handle on her own. Asking around among her female coworkers would probably be enough.
After picking up her father’s divorce agreement, Lilian drove to the hospital, while Morrison headed back to the office. Now that Tiffany and Emma were safe, the rest was up to Dave. His task was complete.
But the moment Morrison got back to his office, the first thing he did was ask Sean:
"Which cars are most popular with women these days?"
He could already tell Lilian was thinking about selling her car.
Fine, let her sell it. That old car of hers had been around for years anyway. More importantly, the cabin space was too tight. Every time he rode in it, he couldn’t even stretch his legs. It was honestly uncomfortable.
Sean, knowing the boss’s efficiency, immediately pulled up a list of the most stylish and practical cars for women and sent it over.
Morrison glanced at his schedule. Not too packed. So he grabbed his car keys again and walked out.
