Chapter 23- So flashy
What Lilian didn’t know was—Morrison had deliberately given her no chance to refuse. He was afraid that if he gave her even a second to think, she’d say no.
So, he made the decision for her.
The group soon arrived at the KTV venue, piling out of the taxis and heading straight for the large private room they had booked in advance.
They had barely sat down when a line of waitstaff filed in, carrying massive trays filled with fresh fruit platters, snacks, drinks, and even bottles of wine.
Their class monitor blinked in confusion and quickly stopped one of the servers.
"Hey, we just got here. We haven’t even ordered yet. Are you sure all this stuff is for us? Maybe you’ve got the wrong room?"
He gestured toward the long table, now completely covered in food and drinks.
With such a large group, they had booked one of the biggest rooms. Even in a place like this, all that food and alcohol wasn’t cheap.
The server glanced at him, then asked calmly,
"Lilian... she’s one of you, right?"
The moment he said that, everyone’s heads turned toward Lilian.
The monitor nodded, still confused.
