Chapter 68: The Battle part 6
Andrew had been tossed around by Gorin for minutes now. He pushed himself up to his feet after blocking an attack that sent him to the ground.
He struggled up with shaky legs, but his eyes burned with determination. He was so focused he was yet to see that the Baron was getting defeated.
Gorin smirked when he saw the resolve of the human. He was still pissed at the fact that Aric had been easily blocking and pushing him back, so now he wanted to take out his frustration on Andrew.
Andrew planted his feet into the ground and then charged at Gorin. He made his movement seem like he was going for a slash, and that tricked Gorin to move for a block, but it was a feint.
His sword went for a stab. This was his last-ditch effort to land an attack on Gorin. But rather than be shocked, Gorin smiled. His free arm moved, and using his arm guard, he parried the sword and then sent a kick right into Andrew’s chest.
Andrew flew through the air. He hit the ground roughly and rolled for a few meters before stopping. He coughed up a huge amount of blood.
His body was covered in bruises, all bright red with blood, but even then, he refused to stay down. Gorin smiled at the resilience. He picked up Andrew’s sword and tossed it at him.
"Pick it up, give it your best. That way, you can die as a true warrior," Gorin said.
Andrew slowly raised his head, looking at the blade on the ground. He stretched his shaky hands to pick the sword, his grip on it loose, but he still tried to move and keep fighting.
"That’s a lot of big talk coming from someone that couldn’t touch me," Aric said as he walked to the fight scene, dragging the Baron behind him.
