Chapter 42: The Seven Great spirits part 2
"Why would you say she was the most violent?" Aric asked.
"Remember when I said I’ll get back to why things changed? Well, something happened along the line and changed everything for the great spirits and the world at large," Ariel said.
"Alright then, I’m listening," Aric said.
"The last three great spirits that walked the planet were the Storm Spirit, Zephyrion, master of the winds, lightning, and chaos. He was the second most destructive spirit; his chaos was second only to Ignis.
The Lunar Spirit, Selene. She represented the moon, illusions, and night. The last of the spirits was the Beast Spirit, Ferox, the primal force of life, beasts, and evolution.
Those were the seven great spirits. They kept the balance of everything and ensured that all life was kept with all respect, or so the story said.
But along the line, humans somehow became the enemies of the great spirits. The great spirits resolved to wipe out humanity, but humans had spread so far that this attempt touched the other races as well.
Argir was the one at the forefront of this war. She made the oceans roar, waves bigger than had ever been seen before crashed into worlds, destroying everything they touched.
Storms and much more followed. Her anger reaped millions of lives all over the world. Of all the spirits, she caused the greatest damage.
The war was said to last for years unending. Humanity fought and fought to stop them, but they could not stop the spirits, and due to this, other races suffered dearly.
It was not until later that two divine dragons rose. It was believed that they came from the two dragon continents. I don’t know the truth of that, but that was what was said.
The two divine dragons were the rulers of the dragons in their respective continents, or so the stories say. The fire dragon came from the southern continent, and the ice dragon from the north.
