Chapter 32: Naming the spirits
The spirits noticed that Aric was back to normal and no longer emitting huge amounts of spirit energy, so they rushed over to him. Aric thought they were coming to actually check on him, but he was very wrong.
"You almost killed us," one of the spirits yelled at him.
"Yeah, you said this would benefit us as well," another spirit said.
"How does you killing us benefit us?" another spirit asked. They all flew around him, scolding and complaining.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I'm not sure what I did that pissed you off so much, but I am sorry," Aric said.
"He doesn't even know what he did," one spirit said.
"Can you believe this guy?" another spirit said, and immediately after, Aric's attempt to apologize turned into another round of scolding and complaints. He waited quietly for the spirits to finish, and then he spoke again.
"I got my true name, and now I can give you all your true names. That way, I'll pay you guys back," he said. They all paused upon hearing that, and then after a few seconds, they agreed.
"Yes, we want the names," one said.
"Give it to us immediately," another one said.
