Chapter 265: Her Feelings
Alice noticed the changes in Enzo’s treatment of her. For the past few days, Enzo had been quiet in the house.
Whenever she would arrive home, Enzo was already sleeping. And before going to work, Enzo didn’t accompany her for breakfast.
Alice had been wondering why Enzo was giving her cold treatment lately. Surprisingly, she was bothered by this. She was used to his caring and sweet sides.
So today, she decided to confront him.
"Enzo, can we talk for a moment?" Alice asked Enzo who was cooking in the kitchen.
Enzo stopped what he was doing and followed Alice to the living room.
"Is there something wrong?" Alice looked at him worriedly. "Are you upset with me? What have I done wrong?"
Aside from being strangely quiet, Alice was also puzzled as to why Enzo had been no longer intimate with her lately. She noticed that Enzo had been distancing himself even though they were sleeping in the same bed.
She also caught him one time– Enzo leaving the bedroom and staying in the living room to continue his sleep. For some unknown reason, Alice longed for his touch and kisses. And it wasn’t normal anymore.
Meanwhile, Enzo stared at her, meeting her gaze. He hesitated for a moment before speaking.
