"Uh, Miss Therese..." One security personnel spoke up on behalf of his team. "Can we confirm this issue first to the staff who escorted them here? As you know, she might be a special guest."
Therese narrowed her eyes in a grimace. "I’m not asking for your opinion. You were summoned here to escort them out. No need to wait for confirmation."
"Letting them in is a huge mistake. They don’t belong here. Is she even an artist here?" Therese continued mocking Athena and Lanny.
Lanny couldn’t stand hearing those insults so she spat back at her. "Hey, Bitch! For your information, the management of YD Entertainment is the one who begged my artist to sign an exclusive contract with them! Of course, she is now an artist here!"
Therese raised her eyebrow, pursing her lips in annoyance.
"Oh, really? Then call the management. Let me see if you are telling the truth."
The guards just exchanged anxious looks at each other. They even scratched their heads as they didn’t want to offend both ladies.
"I think I recognize her," Therese’s personal assistant whispered to the manager. "She is known as the Masked Singer, Athena."
Therese’s manager was taken aback for a moment. She heard of that name before.
’Oh right! The Ye-tube sensation. I remember her. But she’s not from this country. Why is she here? Are they telling the truth? She already signed a contract here at YD Entertainment. I thought she was an independent artist who doesn’t want to sign any exclusive contract!’’
This time Therese’s manager approached her artist. "Therese, calm down. She’s not an ordinary artist." She warned her.
But Therese was stubborn enough to listen. She just glared at her manager, making her shut her mouth.
