Chapter 239: Who Wanted to Frame Him?

Alice and Athena were both rushing inside the York City Police Department, searching for Enzo.
"Where did they bring Mr. Enzo Williama? We need to see him!" Athena asked the police on duty at the information desk.
"He was brought to the interrogation room. You can’t go there, Ma’am, unless you are his attorney." The police calmly explained to her. They were clueless about the plan of other police officers to torture Enzo just to force a false confession from him.
"You have to wait. I can escort you to our visitor lounge area," he politely added.
Athena’s heart was beating rapidly against her chest. She couldn’t allow her brother to be imprisoned for the crime he didn’t do.
She just nodded and followed the police officer. On the other hand, Alice was silent as she stayed with Athena. She was still wondering as to why Enzo got involved in Dominique’s accident.
It did not take long before they reached the waiting lounge. They sat down together as they waited for Enzo’s attorney to arrive.
Athena was secretly observing Alice. She opened up a conversation with her.
"Alice, do you think Enzo can do this to Dominique Smith?" She asked her while eyeing her meaningfully.
Lanny and Athena were still trying to figure out Alice’s connection to Dominique. At this moment, she wanted to find out Alice’s thoughts and feelings regarding the incident.
Alice stared at Athena for a long moment before answering her.
