Chapter 120: Being Loyal
Enzo was trying to absorb Lanny’s words. He couldn’t understand why she suddenly acted this way. He had been staying in her condo unit for days but this was the first time Lanny made this strange request from him.
’She wants me to touch her. No. I can’t do that. If I do, I feel like I’m cheating on Alice. I can’t do that.’
Alice was the reason why Enzo tried his best to fight the temptation brought by Lanny.
Taking a deep sigh, Enzo finally moved, gently removing Lanny’s hands that were wrapped around his body.
He grabbed the blanket nearby, using it to cover Lanny’s nakedness. He wrapped her body and he stood in front of her with a serious expression on his face.
"Lanny, I’m sorry. I can’t do this. This is unfair for both of you and Alice," He softly said, holding her shoulders.
"Even though we were doing this kind of thing in the past, it doesn’t mean we can do it again now. Our situation is different from before. I don’t remember anything and I have a girlfriend."
Lanny fell silent for a moment. She knew it. This guy was too good for her. He had always been righteous. Enzo only agreed to their deal five years ago because he wasn’t dating anyone at that time.
But his situation was different now. He was now in love with Alice.
"I care about her feelings..." Enzo added, feeling sorry for Lanny.
Because of this, Enzo found another reason why he needed to leave Lanny’s condo unit. After rejecting her request, things would become more awkward between them.
"Are you sure about that, Enzo?" She asked him because she knew that Enzo’s body reacted to her touch.
