Chapter 94: Accident
Athena’s mood changed after seeing Dominique and Sasha together. She was annoyed by their presence. However, she had to pretend she was just fine and didn’t feel anything about them.
She let herself be accompanied by Ashton to divert her attention. He brought her to his car.
"Wait here, Athena. I’ll just pick up something inside my car."
Athena just stood there, watching Ashton as he opened his car. A few seconds later, Ashton was already holding a bouquet of red roses.
"This is for you," Ashton softly said, handing the bouquet over to her.
Athena blinked in amusement. She had to admit that Ashton was so sweet and romantic. However, he was the same guy who just watched on the sideline while Dominique was scheming against her.
So Ashton was not exempted from her hatred. That’s why she didn’t feel any guilt for using him as part of her revenge.
"Thank you, Mr. Davis. I love red roses. They are so beautiful!" Athena accepted the bouquet and even smelled the flower.
"Yes. So beautiful like you," Ashton blurted out with admiration.
Athena emitted a soft giggle at Ashton’s compliment. "I’m so flattered. You consider me beautiful even though you haven’t seen my real face yet."
Ashton chuckled and remarked, "Hmm. I would appreciate it if you would do a face reveal."
"Alright. I’ll make you special. You will be celebrating your birthday, right? How about showing you my real face as your birthday gift?"
