Chapter 74: Misunderstanding
[ At Goddess Elixirs Cafe... ]
After visiting Athena and Enzo’s parents’ graves at memorial park cemetery, the three of them headed to Goddess Elixirs Cafe to meet Oliver Jones.
"This Cafe is owned by my brother, Vladimir," Lanny informed Enzo. "Do you want to work here? I think he is still hiring."
Enzo’s eyes lit up when he heard that. He scanned the place and he liked the ambiance of the Cafe.
"I would love to," Enzo responded.
"That’s great. Now, you have a lot of options. Be my personal Chef, our bodyguard, or be an employee of this Cafe." Lanny clapped her hands in excitement. They must keep Enzo close to them while Athena was finding a way to fix his case.
Enzo just let out a soft chuckle. "By the way, where is Athena?" His gaze flickered around the Cafe, looking for Athena.
"She’s in the restroom, putting on her mask. We will be meeting a representative from Jones International Inc.," Lanny explained.
Enzo just nodded in understanding.
Athena, Lanny, and Enzo waited on the second floor. They just instructed the Cafe Manager to guide Oliver once he showed up.
It did not take long before Oliver arrived at the Cafe. However, Athena and Lanny didn’t anticipate that he would bring his fiancé with him.
"Melody Williams," Athena mumbled when she saw the woman standing next to Oliver.
