Chapter 91: Only Mine
Later, Dominic took a long breath, calming the rough rhythm of his breathing.
Lying beside him was his precious lover who is fast asleep. He was completely worn out from what had just passed.
Outside the shuttered wooden window, the sounds of morning were beginning to stir. The birds and other signs of life signaled the approach of dawn.
From a poorly sealed crack in the frame, a bit of cold air drifted in, cooling Dominic’s flushed skin just enough to feel pleasant.
He reached over and gently brushing a few strands of hair away from Shiao Yi’s face, watching him sleep.
That face, th peaceful and vulnerable in slumber, was something Dominic could never get tired of.
The red marks that were scattered all over Shiao Yi’s skin, it was the vivid traces of passion he left behind.
His body, still covered in the evidence of desire, looked deeply sensual.
And just seeing him like that stirred up the heat inside Dominic all over again, even though he had just started to calm down.
Every version of Shiao Yi make him excited.
The way he squirmed in embarrassment, the way his eyebrows tightened as he endured pleasure, the way he cried and begged him to stop, the way he glared in frustration, and the way he moaned helplessly as he lost in pleasure he gave—every expression Shiao Yi showed just kept driving Dominic wild.
It was endless.
Dominic let out a soft laugh and gently slid his fingers toward Shiao Yi’s backside.
He whispered a cleansing spell, sending healing magic through his body to clean him from the inside.
The person who had taught Dominic how to handle things after moments like this was Sayu, the healer assigned to his knight unit.
Until recently, Dominic hadn’t known that Sayu could be so unrestrained—he was even the one who gave Dominic a bottle of scented oil.
Sayu had been serving the knight order long before even Dominic took command, so they’d known each other for quite some time.
He remembered the day clearly.
It had been after that brutal training session where Louis had pushed the recruits too far, and several had passed out from exhaustion.
They had to be carried to the medical ward.
Dominic had warned Louis to be more careful, but he had just looked displeased and muttered something like, "You’re worse than me, Captain."
He was probably referring to the fact that every time Dominic trained someone personally, the number of people with bruises or knocked unconscious always increased.
However, that wasn’t Dominic’s fault—his soldiers were just inexperienced.
A true knight wouldn’t faint from something like that.
Dominic always held back just enough to avoid broken bones.
That was the same day Dominic had thanked Sayu for the bottle of scented oil.
"That oil you gave me... it was something else," he had said. "Thank you for such a good gift."
Sayu had blinked. "Is that so? And how has Shiao Yi been feeling afterward?"
"Much better, thanks to that. I never knew something like that existed. Sayu, you really surprised me."
"It’s a pretty ordinary item," Sayu replied calmly. "Just a mix of herbs that help regulate the body’s balance and speed up recovery. Nothing worth such big thanks."
"When I used it, Shiao Yi became so honest. It was like discovering a new side of him. It felt refreshing," Dominic had said.
"Really? I didn’t know it could have that kind of effect. Though... Shiao Yi is from another world. Maybe it reacts differently with him. I should look into the ingredients later. But Captain Dominic, since Shiao Yi seems fully recovered, it may be best not to use it again."
Sayu had furrowed his brows slightly, speaking in a thoughtful tone.
"You’re right. It doesn’t feel like something to use all the time. But... maybe every now and then wouldn’t hurt," Dominic said.
"Just keep an eye on his condition and use it when appropriate," Sayu reminded him.
"Of course. I understand completely," Dominic replied with a nod.
Sayu looked at him with a hesitant expression, but then suddenly raised his eyebrows as if something had just occurred to him.
"By the way... this might come out of nowhere, so please don’t get angry, alright?"
"What is it?" Dominic asked.
"Well, Captain Dominic... that is to say, you’re, uh, having relations with Shiao Yi, correct?"
"That should already be obvious to you, shouldn’t it?"
"Ah, well, yes... it’s just—what I mean is, how are you handling things like preparation and aftercare? You do know those are necessary, right?"
"Aftercare? What do you mean by that?"
Sayu gave a weak, slightly awkward smile and looked off into the distance, as if trying to avoid Dominic’s gaze.
Truthfully, Dominic hadn’t known anything about the need for aftercare and he was actually very grateful Sayu had brought it up.
Sayu explained that if semen was left inside the body too long, it could upset the stomach or cause other problems.
Up until now, Shiao Yi must have been secretly taking care of it on his own without telling Dominic.
It hit him then—there were far too many things he didn’t know.
He was genuinely surprised to learn that cleansing magic could also be used in this way.
It was like a revelation.
The bath in the room had gone cold long ago, but Dominic reheated the water using fire magic.
Then he gently washed Shiao Yi’s body in the warm bath.
Even after drying him off and carrying him back to the bed, Shiao Yi remained deeply asleep, completely worn out.
Dominic brushed back the soft hair from Shiao Yi’s forehead and quietly slipped into bed beside him.
He wrapped his arms around him and pulling him close.
Their body heat mixed, skin against skin, becoming one. In that moment Dominic felt true bliss.
Once again, he had completely worn Shiao Yi out.
And once again, he had failed to hold himself back.
Even though their journey would continue today, he had let his self-control slip.
