Chapter 82: Sanctuary
Shiao Yi gave him a half-lidded, resentful glare. That’s enough, right? Now please put me down.
"I heard from Jude," Dominic said, his voice serious. "Those two brothers came by today, didn’t they? He said they did something awful to you."
Ah, that. So Jude reported it, huh. Well, it was his duty, so Shiao Yi couldn’t really blame him.
However, to be honest, it wasn’t exactly that something awful was done to him—it might’ve been more accurate to say... he was the one who acted out.
"Are you hurt? Did they do anything awful to you? How could anyone attack a child like that? Those guys are heartless! I won’t forgive them!"
Really? Shiao Yi thought. Was Dominic—who crushed him in bed every single night—seriously the one saying that? Talk about putting yourself on a high shelf and pretending none of your actions exist.
But before that, there was something Shiao Yi had to get straight.
"I’m not a child! How many times do I have to say it before you get it?!"
"I know," Dominic said with a soft smile while looking down at him in his arms. "You’re so cute, Shiao."
That melting smile of his made Shiao Yi want to scream.
As always, Dominic didn’t get it at all.
Enough of this pointless back-and-forth. Time to change the subject and move on.
"Those guys are just big. They haven’t done any real training. Do you really think someone like that could do anything to me? Don’t worry about it."
Dominic’s deep green blue eyes, which had been filled with concern, finally softened a little with relief.
"More importantly—did you eat? You came straight up here after getting home, didn’t you?"
It was already late tonight. Whenever that happened, Shiao Yi usually went to bed before Dominic came back.
If he stayed up waiting, Dominic would worry himself sick.
How strange it was—the way they treated someone with a single digit number rank in the B.O.W. unit. All this pampering... it was probably because they still saw him as a kid.
"I ate a little at the royal palace," Dominic said. "But I’m still worried. Those guys might show up again. And my father—he could try something too. I don’t like the idea of leaving you alone in the mansion."
"I’ll be fine. Jude is here, and so is Eline. Everyone else is around too," Shiao Yi replied. "More importantly, how about you eat something? You’re going to be busy again tomorrow, right? If you don’t eat properly, you’ll get sick."
Shiao Yi managed to slip out from Dominic’s arms, then rang the bell to call for a late-night snack on his behalf.
Dominic was still muttering complaints, but Shiao Yi pushed him toward the bath, telling him to go clean up.
And this guy was supposed to be a man who is know as the Iron Knight, right?
However, right now, he was acting more like an overprotective dad from a daycare.
...
"No... stop... Dominic... don’t... I don’t want this!"
Shiao Yi’s voice trembled as he pushed against Dominic’s touch, his body tensing with resistance.
Right now, Shiao Yi was in an extremely embarrassing situation, his body trembling with nervous tension.
Dominic who is overwhelmed with jealousy, refused to believe him no matter how many times Shiao Yi said that nothing had happened.
In the end, Dominic insisted on confirming it directly—with his own hands—and this was the result.
Shiao Yi had gotten used to being stripped completely naked—it happened every time.
He was lying with his face down and his hips raised high, exposing his bare bottom right in front of Dominic.
Dominic grabbed his backside with his large hands and spreading it open. Then he pressed his nose against it, sniffing closely.
A moment later, he even slid his tongue inside.
The place... the situation... it was too much. Shiao Yi felt like he was going to die from embarrassment. He wasn’t some dog or cat, after all. "D-Don’t sniff or lick that part of me!" he wanted to scream.
But Dominic wouldn’t listen. He said he had to check it. He had to make sure there was no scent of another man on him.
Sometimes, Dominic’s love turned into something close to obsession. Right now was one of those times. Shiao Yi had a bad feeling that if Dominic ever snapped and lost control, something truly frightening might happen.
Since childhood, Dominic had always held himself back too much.
Maybe because of that strict self-restraint, his emotions hadn’t developed properly.
He seemed to slip out of the bounds of what most people would consider normal.
Shiao Yi had heard that Dominic never really cared about people or things—not even about himself.
He didn’t reject others, exactly, but his cold indifference felt even harsher than rejection.
That’s why people called him the Iron Knight.
But then, Dominic had claimed Shiao Yi.
He was the only one who had ever caught Dominic’s interest.
That unfamiliar emotion had grown stronger and stronger, turning into a twisted kind of possessiveness—an obsession that bordered on unhealthy.
And yet, Shiao Yi couldn’t deny it.
The way Dominic obsessed over him made something deep inside shiver with pleasure.
Maybe that meant Shiao Yi himself wasn’t exactly normal either.
The way Dominic moved his tongue made Shiao Yi’s body melt completely.
His body had already been trained and changed by Dominic—so much that it welcomed him now and reacting with joy.
Bit by bit, Shiao Yi let out sweet, needy sounds, asking for Dominic without even meaning to.
Whenever Dominic heard those sounds, he would give a slow, melting smile and grant him exactly what he was asking for.
His eyes would shine with raw male desire, silently shouting how badly he wanted Shiao Yi.
Looking up at that passionate, masculine face, Shiao Yi reached out both hands toward him.
They kissed, again and again, their mouths and bodies filled with hunger.
For a moment, like wild animals, they gave in completely, enjoying the lust and pleasure between them.
