Chapter 63- You Are A Curse
Luna Raya:
Since last night, none of us could bat an eye. Thanks to the royal guests, I wasn’t able to focus on my babies.
Blake was still out there looking for that bitch along with Jai. I had thought that my life would be perfect after disposing of her from our lives.
But no. I was wrong.
I was never aware that she had so many secret admirers, including the Lycan king.
While sitting in my bedroom, I poured a class of whiskey for myself when the door creaked open and Luna Tamia came inside.
I tried to ignore the strong taste of my drink when I saw her.
I was in no mood for a chit-chat. Kiara had been trying to connect to me through mindlink, but I blocked her.
"You seem upset," Luna Tamia said, taking the sofa next to me and fixing her skirt. I didn’t even bother to stand and kneel or pay her any respect.
I was in no mood.
"Raya!" Luna Tamia covered my hand that was placed on my lap, "You can trust me, child."
I looked into her eyes and could feel the security she was ready to offer me. But I couldn’t take the risk of trusting anyone.
We didn’t move an inch when, after a short knock, Tina also came inside.
"Raya!" she spread her arms for me, and I felt like giving up. I got to my feet and let her embrace me.
Last night we were all so happy. I was telling them how I got rid of her and warned her never to return.
The plan was to celebrate and party all night long.
But alas, Blake asked me to come back because Asher had a fever.
Now, with all this investigation, I felt trapped. What if they demanded that Blake reject me?
And... and what if they declare us rogues? My sons will never become Alphas.
My silly mistake could cost me the future of my sons.
"Shh," Tina shushed me while hugging me to her, "We’re all with you. I’m sure she is dead. Don’t worry. Nothing will happen."
I wanted to laugh at Tina’s face. She might be my friend, but I could see there was no intimacy between her and Alpha Sebastian.
How would she keep me safe when Sebastian hadn’t married her yet?
Of course, I didn’t say all of this. It was rude.
Right now, I couldn’t trust anyone. Telling them that Jai used to be my ex-mate could shift their doubts towards me. I didn’t want that.
No one knew about it except Jai and me. He rejected me brutally in private, but for me, it was so insulting that I wanted to kill myself.
"Sweetheart," Luna Tamia smiled when I got back to my chair, "Are you sure you didn’t kill her?"
I was taken aback by the question. What was she trying to do? Pin this on me? I just tried to do a favor for Tina, Kiara, and my pack members. She was a toxic person and needed to stay away from the pack.
Couldn’t I take a small decision for my pack’s welfare and my friends’ well-being? First, it was me, and then she was trying to steal Tina’s fiancé.
Such a pathetic, low-life cu*nt she was.
"Raya?" I jumped when felt a touch on my hand. Tina was holding my hand, looking at my face in concern, "Tamia has been calling your name, and you aren’t even responding. I think you should go to bed."
She held my arm and helped me to my feet.
"I ... I don’t want to die," I whispered, looking at Tina’s perfect face, "Blake will never forgive me."
"Rubbish!" We both looked back and found Luna Tamia leaving her seat.
She walked up to me and held my hands, "No one will dare to even touch you, girl. Stop worrying about it. You did the right thing. By now some wild beast must have devoured her," with a smirk, she turned to Tina, "Tell her what we did to Aurora two years back."
Tina’s facial features got stoic at once. She never told me anything about this Aurora girl.
"What about Aurora?" I asked her with a slurred speech and half-closed eyes, "Who is she? Did you get rid of her the same way?"
Tina’s eyes had turned red at the mention of this name.
She was glaring at Tamia, who was already busy taking me to bed.
I made a mental note to talk to Tina about this. We were friends, and I think she should share all her secrets with me, just like she expected me to share them with her.
"Have peaceful sleep, love," Luna Tamia kissed my forehead before stepping back. I didn’t know how long they stayed there and what they talked about.
But I was aware that I kept dreaming that I killed Phoenix and fed her bones to the beasts.

I opened my eyes and yawned loudly. Tina was right about getting some sleep. I felt refreshed and couldn’t wait to start my day with positive energy.
However, when I woke up, I found Blake sitting at the edge of the bed.
"Blake?" I sat up, not expecting him to be there. He was still wearing his night clothes.
He slowly turned to look at me, as if measuring me.
"Wh...what... what happened?" I asked, trying to smile.
"You tell me, Raya. What happened?" his face might be calm, but I could see something brewing in his dark eyes.
"I... I don’t know what you are talking about," I shrugged with a nervous chuckle and looked around for my slippers.
I needed to go to the bathroom and hide myself in there. However, when I made a beeline for it, my wrist was grabbed by my husband,
"We have been married for two years, Raya," He gave my arm a little tug, gritting his teeth, "I know something is cooking in that pretty head of yours. Whatever it is, just drop it. Or we might land into trouble."
When I first met Blake, I fell for his no-nonsense attitude, but now I was finding it incredibly painful.
"Wh...what do you mean?" I tried to free my hand, but this time his hold tightened.
"What I mean to say is... if you have a hand in this, Raya, then I’m telling you. I won’t take responsibility for a crime my mate committed. Once we find Phoenix, I’ll reject you and send you away from me, away from this pack and away from our kids, I swear."
I couldn’t believe it. The man who always showed his soft side to me was threatening me. And that bitch was responsible for it.
Look how many lives you have destroyed, Phoenix. Kiara was right. You are nothing but a curse, and I pray to the Moon Goddess that you are already dead.
