The son of a bitch regained his balance and the bastard had the nerve to glare right at me.
"Your boyfriend? He never mentioned anything about being in a relationship," He held my stare, tension radiating from us in hot waves. And then he looked away. "See you some other time cutie," He gave Oliver one last adoring look before disappearing into the crowd. I wanted to chase after him, every instinct in my body roaring.
He wouldn’t be meeting my boyfriend ever again. And as for Oliver, how dare he let that fucker simply touch him like that? He had recognized me earlier, yet he still had the nerve to do this, perhaps he was provoking me on purpose.
"What the fuck are you doing here?" The words seethed from me as I gazed at his costume.
Just how many people was Oliver going to attract? How did his ass even stay a virgin with all these vultures circling him?
Then a darker thought crept in. What if Oliver hadn’t stayed a virgin?
"It’s y..y..you! How could you do this to m-me!" He dragged out, pointing a shaky finger at me, then stabbing it at my chest.
His words were slurred. No shit that he was drunk, but he hadn’t been when he bumped into me a few minutes ago. I remembered his footsteps were steady. Who did he come with?
He was dead drunk and alone, so easy to take advantage of. The thought sent a spike of anger and concern through me.
What the hell was he doing here in the first place? And why was he dressed so attractively?
