Chapter 225
Madeline’s voice cut through the tense air like a knife.
"Lance asked me many times if I want to get my revenge on you, and each time, I refused because I want nothing to do with you anymore," Madeline said. "It’s sad you don’t share the same sentiment as I do. You’re willing to sacrifice me, again, all for the sake of money. You’re a disgusting human being, Jonathan Hale."
"I told Angel what I did to her wasn’t personal because it was Lily who wanted her dead," Madeline paused for a moment. "But for you, Jonathan, it’s personal. I want everyone to know exactly what kind of disgusting human being you are."
Madeline looked at the burly man pushing the wheelchair and ordered, "Leave. I’m going to start soon."
"Yes, Miss."

Meanwhile, Lance and his siblings occupied the front seat directly facing the end of the runway. So he would get a full view of all the models later.
George and Lily sat to Lance’s left, and there was an empty seat reserved for Theodore on his right, beside the designer, Leia Cross.
"Do you think Theo will show up?" George asked Lance while waiting for the show to start.
"He’s on his way. I’m sure he’ll be more than happy to come. After all, he’s making an effort to mend his relationship with us, right?" Lance replied while stealing a glance at Lily.
They all knew that Lily was the closest to Theo. He was her favorite brother. So, she had been most devastated when Theo changed because of Angel, to the extent that Lily didn’t even want to see that hag’s face.
Lance also glanced at the designer, Leia, who was busy on her phone. She was probably busy making sure everything backstage was perfect.
